Subject: [ILL-L] New to OCLC Resource Sharing
Hello,
We're new to OCLC Resource Sharing and I just want to say thank you in
advance for your patience as we learn the correct way to do this! We
previously requested OCLC ILLs through a cooperative, but we now have a
direct connection. We are now listed as a supplier and are happy to lend
to libraries in the U.S. and Canada at no charge.
Please feel free to share any tips or advice about OCLC Resource
Sharing--especially things that a newbie might miss. Also, any tips
(especially shortcuts) on how your library uses Custom Holdings Groups
are greatly appreciated. Is there a fast way to sort through policies to
find libraries that meet specific lending criteria? What protocol do you
follow for libraries with no policies listed?
Please respond off list.
Thank you!
Anne
