[ILL-L] Limit to number of books a student can take out?

We have a limit of ten requests per week per student (actually they can submit more, but I'll only transmit ten a week). There's no official limit on how many ILL books they can have checked out at a time, but if a student has books overdue, or an unpaid fine, I won't transmit any more requests, or let the student pick up books, until all overdue books are returned or the fine is paid. Also, there's a limit of 40 book requests per student per semester, but we'll waive it in some cases, usually for seniors writing theses (no limit on article requests).

Subject: [ILL-L] Limit to number of books a student can take out?

We have a class where some students are requesting 15-20 books interlibrary loan. We have a policy of no more than ten ILL books charged out to a patron at a time. Do other libraries have similar policies or thoughts? Thanks,
