[ILL-L] Lending New Materials

We are an academic library and usually will not loan out anything less than 6 months old. However, we do tend to bend this rule in Summer term and in December. (Less students=less odds they'll need the book.) We may also make exceptions on a case-by-case basis the rest of the year.
Hope this helps!

Subject: [ILL-L] Lending New Materials
Hello All,
I am new to the world of ILL and would like to know what your policies are
regarding the lending of newly acquired materials. Do you lend new
materials? What do you consider new? Will you lend something considered new
if you are the borrowers last chance?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Best,
Sean
