We're the same way, here-if it can be checked out by our own patrons, we will lend it through ILL. Our new books are non-circulating for just one week, then they move out to the circ stacks.

We lend new materials. If it is available and can be checked out, it can go out on ILL.

Subject: [ILL-L] Lending New Materials
Hello All,
I am new to the world of ILL and would like to know what your policies are regarding the lending of newly acquired materials. Do you lend new materials? What do you consider new? Will you lend something considered new if you are the borrowers last chance?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Best,
Sean
