[ILL-L] Re: (charging for abandoned items) Friday musings

I work in a small academic library and we deal with end-of-term 
deadlines for projects.  While I wouldn't say we have a large problem 
with items not being picked up, I sympathize with the situation.

Just out of curiosity, for those academic institutions that do charge, 
how do you handle patron requests that arrive after the material is no 
longer needed?
