Nathan,

It stays for four referral days. The day you created it is day one. Saturday and Sunday are nonreferral days, meaning OCLC does not age requests on those days and they do not count in the 4-day window.

OCLC has additional nonreferral days on some holidays, including Christmas and New Years.

Subject: [ILL-L] Max days pending request at single inst?

What is the max days a request should be pending at a lending institution? I have an institution that was first in the string and it looks as though the request has been sitting there for 5 days now. No contact info available via OCLC policies directory.

Thanks,
