We email the next library so they don't send it, and delete the request so it doesn't move on,

Subject: [ILL-L] Item sent without being "shipped"
Hello all,
I'm still relatively new to ILL, so I'm sure this issue has been discussed on this list before.
Today I received a book we had requested through ILL. However, the item was not marked "Shipped" by the library who sent it, and in the FirstSearch record "Aged to Next Lender" shows next to their symbol. The request is now "In Process" at the next lender in the string. How do I receive this item (since that option is not available at the top of the screen), and how do I ensure that the library that loaned us the item receives credit for it? I assume since the item aged out while it was in their queue, the lending library can no longer access the request. Is there anything they can do to mark it "Shipped" so I can receive it? Obviously, I don't want to cancel the request, but I'm not sure of what to do. I will email the "In process" lender to let them know not to send the item.
Thanks everyone! This list is very helpful.
