I thought I found that the databases allowed ILL use but said that it depended on the publisher's policies, but you'd have to find it on the database's conditions and terms page,

Subject: [ILL-L] Friday ponder: use of database copy when also ownmicrofilm/print

It's Friday here on Guam - Where America Starts Its Day!

Anyway.

We have limited ability to produce copies from aging microfilm machines
(there are no repair technicians on the island). There are plans to
purchase a unit that produces digital copy in the next year. In the
meantime, staff struggle.

For a number of microfilm holdings, we also have electronic copy through
various Ebsco and ProQuest databases. Neither licenses state that ILL use
is permissible.

Can we use the electronic copy for those articles that we also have
microfilm copy? It is basically a matter of convenience, not any attempt
to abridge intended use of the license.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Have a great weekend - even for those with weekend duty!
