[ILL-L] Using ILL for course reserves

Hi,

Yesterday a TA came to me with a long list of books that the professor
wanted to get through ILL and put on reserve for a class from Sept 8 - Oct
2. Now, I know this is a big no-no and I told her we would definitely not
put any ILL items on reserve. She was OK with this, but told me she would
just get the books and make them available to the students herself. My
question is, "is this acceptable?" Technically, if I didn't know what the
books were for I wouldn't think twice about it, but since I do, I am
wondering if there is anything I should do? Or, do I simply order the books
and let her do with them as she pleases?

Also, is it explicitly stated anywhere in official documentation that ILL's
cannot be used for course reserves?

Thanks as always!
