[ILL-L] tape and books

Perhaps a gentle note to the offender(s) would do the trick - I don't think anyone intentionally misuses another library's property.

There is a Removable Scotch tape  that I use for my book straps - "Magic(tm) Tape 811".  I've used it for years and only once or twice had it cause damage to a book; of course a book with a plastic cover is totally safe.  My helper had no idea it wasn't regular tape, even though (to me) they look totally different.  Maybe your offender's tape dispensers were empty or misplaced and they just didn't realize there would be a difference.

Just trying to give benefit of the doubt - definitely NOT a natural position for me to take...:)
