[ILL-L] SCANNER PROBLEM

We have Ariel and Odyssey installed on the same computer.

Question:  When we scan into Ariel, either using the flat bed or the ADF, should we be sure and close Odyssey, and vice versa, in order to avoid problems with the scanner?  Recently we had the problem of not being able to scan more than one page at a time with our Automatic Document Feeder.  Our IT cleaned up registry errors on the computer and reset the scanner.  The ADF seems to be working fine now.

We don't know whether automatic updates from Microsoft Windows caused registry errors or whether scanning into Odyssey while Ariel was open caused the problem.
