I've read that ILL records should be kept for three years plus the
current year, electronic saves room.

Good Morning My ILLer's

Hope all had a great weekend. I need some feedback on why we must keep
the Docline request for 5 years. For the life of me I do not remember.
We have lost our space, and do not have the room to keep them. Since I
do keep the scan copies in a file, I do not see why we must keep the
hard copies. The only ones, I would keep would be the ILL that I borrow
like books, AV's, DVD, etc due to situations like MIA, misplaced,
shelved and not checked in properly or just plain lost in the mail. I
would keep a year's worth. Could you all tell me what you are doing,
and also please refresh my memory as to why we must keep them so far
back?
