[ILL-L] WCRS SLOW RESPONSE

I don't know if this is tied in to WCRS or not, but I've noticed using
ILLiad for Borrowing in the afternoons that sometimes our Constant Data
doesn't automatically populate the form resulting in those cheery yellow
highlight prompts I've come to dread.  Some times clicking on Constant
Data in the toolbar populates the field but more often I have to back
out of the transaction, put it back into the queue and try it again.
Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times of doing this before the Constant Data
appears.
 
OCLC should pay for the dental bills resulting from all the teeth
gnashing.  ;>)

WCRS has been very slow here lately. It is frustrating...
OCLC has an alert for this problem on their alert page.

Reality check!  I hope it's not just us here at La Salle, but since last
week we have been dealing with very slow response time from WCRS.  It
takes forever to enter numbers when batch updating and when going back
and forth between items and screens and functions-and everything.  I
know OCLC sent out a notice either last Thursday or Friday about the
slow response, but I haven't seen anything so far about a resolution to
the problem-which still exists.  Sorry to vent, but this slowness
affects our productivity.
