[ILL-L] Remove BNY from LVIS Custom Holdings Group

Thanks, Jon.  I'm relieved BNY let you know.  I've come across a couple
of cases this year where libraries changed their lending policies and
dropped some affiliations but neglected to let their OCLC service
providers know - or anyone else- know.

Hi Heather,

You make a good point about reminding people to remove BNY from their
LVIS custom holdings group.

OCLC has been notified and will remove LVIS from the affiliations field
of BNY's policy record.  I've been told by OCLC that changes to the
affiliations field are done weekly, so this change will not appear until
later this week or early next week.

Because of the extreme fiscal crises in New York City, starting Monday,
April 20th, The New York Public Library will begin charging $10 for
lending circulating items (BNY) unless in a mutual reciprocal borrowing
agreement.
