Where are you located? There may be conferences in your part of the
country. Your OCLC regional provider may also have some opportunities.
RUSA-STARS is the ALA committee connected with Resource Sharing. There
may be opportunities provided by programs offered by your state library
association. There are also other less formal opportunities out there.
WebJunction now has a resource sharing page for the ILL community with
Facebook-type social networking capabilities. The Rethinking Resource
Sharing initiative may be of interest to you.
http://www.rethinkingresourcesharing.org/ The Share-ILL Wiki is a
wonderful source of information: http://www.shareill.org/ There may be
listserv communities associated with the type of software you use for
your ILL management. I know CLIO and ILLiad have these.

And- the people on this listserv are also a great source - both for
assistance and for community.

Subject: [ILL-L] ill information

Hi everyone
I have been in my ILL position for a year now. I absolutely love it!

Here is my thought

I want to be more involved with work and things. Is there ILL
committees? Conferences?

The other day there were messages going on about IFM's what is that...I
know how to do my duties, but not sure about the background of things.

ANY ANY ANY suggestions, comments, thoughts, would be GREATLY
apprectiated.
