We have Clio and just keep them in the Clio archive, we don't keep any
paperwork unless it helps us in the workflow, but it took some doing. We
back up Clio on the C: drive and on a stick drive also,

Subject: [ILL-L] A Paperless ILL Service?
Hello all!
I am relatively new to the ILL scene and have some questions about
suggested ALA guidelines. We use Clio and OCLC Request Manager to keep
track of our records, in addition to keeping an in-house log. We are
currently printing out all requests we place on OCLC and saving them in
a binder (for the three year guideline), as well as keeping a written
log of requests.
My question is- if this info is saved in Clio indefinitely, as well as
being accessible on OCLC, do we need to keep the printed copies? Does
the log need to be printed as well, or would an Excel spreadsheet be
fine?
I hope that this makes sense. :-) We'd just like to save a little paper
around here if at all possible!
Sincerely,
Liza Harrington
