[ILL-L] OT - library dress policies

Beth's response pretty well sums up our practice.  We have a university dress code, but it really isn't followed very well, even by staff.  As far as common sense goes, we have had to send home student workers who wanted to wear their bathing suits to work.  One male librarian used to put his slacks on over a wet bathing suit and come to work that way.  The director did suggest that he take time to change before coming back to work.  Sometimes he would; sometimes he wouldn't.

At RBN, if you can walk down the street without getting arrested, you can wear it to work.  Most staff use common sense tho.
