[ILL-L] Expired

Based on some discussion we had here back in July I think that the "Not
found as cited" reasons for no causes the request to come back as
"Unfilled".

We have had this happen, too.  I am wondering if.... the first lender in the
string used the 'reason for no' "not found as cited."  I can see the logic
of not forwarding to the rest of the string if the citation is faulty.    We
do very little ILL of periodical articles, so I have not been able to test
this theory, but would be interested in the answer.  This logic would
backfire if the "not found as cited" reason itself is wrong or was entered
in error.

In the last two days we've had two requests of ours go to Expired after the
first of the five lenders (the same one each time)  allowed it to age out.
Does anyone know how this can happen? Thanks,
