[ILL-L] Hot Rod Magazine

I'm sending this question to the list in the hopes of saving some time,
especially since I think that our patron is on somewhat of a deadline.

 

We have a patron who would like a photograph from a summer 1958 issue
(probably June or July) of the magazine Hot Rod.  From a quick search of
WorldCat, I found many libraries that carry the magazine, but either
they didn't have issues back to 1958 or they didn't list their holdings.
(The few that I ran across that looked promising ended up not being
viable options.)

 

So that I wouldn't just have to take several shots in the dark that may
end up wasting my patron's limited time, I was hoping someone on this
list could tell me if they have 1958 issues, either in hard copy or
microform, that we could borrow.  We would probably even be willing to
accept photocopies from the issue, but it presents a problem since we're
not sure which issue has the needed photograph.  If someone was willing
to perform a search of a few issues, I'd like that even more, but as
you're all busy, I'm not holding my breath! J
