Upgrading Ariel won't help - apparently no version of Ariel is compatible
with Vista. The good news is that Ariel can be made to function on a Vista
machine. We just upgraded our Ariel pc to one which has Vista. Our Ariel
3.3 does work with it, but our IT people had some difficulty getting it to
operate. Also, it's not very stable -- when the pc is shut down for any
reason, we sometimes need IT to bring Ariel up again. But we can still use
it.

We are in the process of upgrading our Ariel computer. We are currently
using version 3.4 and are not planning on upgrading at this time. Has
anyone successfully used Ariel 3.4 with Vista? I have tried to get on the
archives of Ariel-L but cannot. Also, what scanners have you have success
with. Thanks in advance for any help you can give us.
