You might call them and ask if the affiliation on their order is
correct,

Subject: [ILL-L] ArieLVIS in the affiliation field

Hi everyone,

I have a question concerning the Affiliation field in OCLC. We just
filled a copy request for a library that has ArieLVIS in their
Affiliation field. However, they are neither members of LVIS, nor are
they on the ArieLVIS holdings group at
http://www.illweb.org/index.php/ArieLVIS. Also, they do not have any
copy or loan polices entered in the Policies Directory. Their request
has a maxcost of $0.

We filled the request because we saw ArieLVIS in the affiliation field.
When I went to update their library information in Clio, I checked to
see what their Policies Directory indicated and there saw that they are
not an LVIS library. We charge what other libraries charge, and so I am
not sure how to handle future requests from this library. Like I said
we already filled this request, and their maxcost is $0, so we will not
charge them.

I feel it is untruthful for them to have ArieLVIS in their affiliation
field. If it had not been there, I would have checked the Policies
Directory prior to filling the request.

I am curious to know how others would have responded to this situation.
Would you handle it differently the what I did?

Sincerely,
Sue
