[ILL-L] Ariel users and non-users

Hello,

Our library recently migrated behind a new firewall and we are
experiencing issues with Ariel transmissions.  In discussions of this
problem, I had wondered if any libraries are moving away from Ariel and
using email attachments more often.

I am sure that some of you may use Ariel to a fuller capacity than we do
because all we do here is send and receive on it. We do not store or
electronically transmit to students on that machine.  The machine is old
and the software is old.   If anyone has any experience or opinions to
share with me, I would love to talk.  You can email me off the list at
