Hi Allie,
WebCirc (or ILLiad Web Circulation as I think it's technically called) is a
new feature that came with the ILLiad upgrade to 7.3. You can find more
information on page 7 of these release notes:
http://www.atlas-sys.com/ILLiad73Update/ILLiadVersion73OverviewandReleaseNotes.pdf

Basically, WebCirc is a web-based circulation tool that you can log into
from any web browser. It doesn't communicate with Millennium, but it does
communicate remotely with ILLiad. It allows desk workers to check out/in,
renew, and place items in transit using the TN number. So, there's no on the
fly.

We just updated our borrowing bookstraps to feature the TN number barcode
more prominantly and have trained the Circulation staff (that's where the
ILL holdshelf is and where ILL materials circulate) to use that barcode
instead of the item's own barcode. Transactions automatically update in the
ILLiad Client, wherever you have that loaded.

It's pretty slick.

Check out those release notes and let me know if I can provide any other
input. I'm not at my most informative on late Friday afternoons...
