[ILL-L] Corrugated Wrap

I have NEVER received a book in the fluff filled jiffy bags that did not
have a hole in at least the inside of the bag and frequently the entire way
through the bag. The fluff bags don't deal well with wet or snow (both of
which we get in abundance for much of the academic year) while the bubble
bags are at least water resistant. The fluff gets everywhere and while it
might not be a problem in the book, it is a problem inside our security
system monitors and computers, both of which happen to be in (gasp!) the
same place I unpack books. While the fluff filled bags might be recyclable
some places, they aren't here so I end up throwing them away as soon as I
get my book out.

Ok, I have to ask...for those who do say no paperfilled jiffy bags, why? Is
it b/c they can be messy? Or is there another reason?
If you pull the tab, they don't spill all over. Personally, that is what we
use most of the time. They are recycled and recyclable and I've found are
much more sturdy than bubble bags. Plus they are budget friendly.
I love the idea of reusable bags but they are pricey. I have been thinking
about just using boxes as they are reusable and recyclable.
I guess I just don't understand...if the book gets to you in good shape,
does it really matter if its a little messy?
