'Jiffy Bag' means different things to different people. I always
assumed that Jiffy Bags were the envelopes with messy, shredded
newspaper fluff as padding. But it turns out that the company that
makes those also makes bubble wrap padded envelopes, too. So when
some lenders indicate "No Jiffy bags" when returning their items,
they really mean to say they don't want their item mailed back in any
Jiffy padded envelope (the shredded newspaper kind or the bubble wrap
kind). They really prefer their material to come back in a box. If
that's the message, I'd advise indicating "No padded envelopes" or
"Please return in a box" rather than "No Jiffy Bags".
