[ILL-L] Corrugated Wrap

We use corrugated cardboard. We purchase it on large rolls. It is not
the self-adhesive type. There are some libraries , especially museums
and special collections, that will not accept corrugated but want books
returned in boxes. This material is often very expensive to replace.
We have a special flyer for this group, to make sure students don't use
the corrugated. We wrap the books in the corrugated and then pack them
in a bubble bag.

I have a question about the pros and cons of Jiffy Bags, because so many
ILL departments are saying do not send in Jiffy Bags in their constant
data. Our shipping and receiving department are looking at self
adhesive corrugated paper sheets in a handy range of sizes and grades
Ideal for multiple mailings and dispatch of books, media items and
varying product sizes.

Has anyone else started using this? We also have limited supply of
boxes of the right sizes. Thanks, Kareen
