This is the FINAL reminder to submit presentation proposals for the upcoming 2009 International OCLC ILLiad Conference.
NOTE: If you already submitted a proposal but did not receive an email response acknowledging your submission, please let me know.

Is your library doing something different and innovative with OCLC ILLiad? Do you have a particular area of expertise that you would like to share with your colleagues? Is there something you've been wanting to discuss concerning resource sharing, but just can't find the right forum?
The fifth International OCLC ILLiad Conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, March 19-20, 2009 at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, VA. (Preconference will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2009.)
We are currently accepting proposals for presentations for the conference.
Possible topics include (but certainly are not limited to):
Disaster Recovery Planning
Putting ILLiad Data to work for non-ILL departments including acquisitions, selection, budgeting, staffing
ILLiad from the perspective of the medical, law, public, or special library
Hiring, Training, Managing, and Retaining productive student assistants
ILLiad Web circ implementation
Staff Development and training
Has ILLiad improved your resource sharing processes/workflows and affected user satisfaction?
ILLiad Best Practices
Creative use of ILLiad print and email templates.
Marketing and Promoting ILLiad system to customers
Using Odyssey/Odyssey Helper and scanning best practices
ILLiad 7.2 web page makeover
Integration of courier services and consortial borrowing with ILLiad
Cost Analysis of purchase on demand vs. borrowing
We are also interested in presentations of more general interest to the resource sharing community, such as a talk on standards or the future of resource sharing. Panel discussions are welcome.
Presentations should be approximately 45 minutes in length, with 15 minutes for questions.
