It may have been a prof. I once had a faculty member e-mail me Sunday night requesting an article from an old newspaper on ILL. On Monday (about 18 hours later) she came in to pick it up, and was greatly surprised to find it hadn't come in yet.

Subject: [ILL-L] Help -- NEED BY DATE with ILL form, ClioRequest, and OCLC
Hello!
Sorry for cross posting!
EBSCOhost was kind enough to create a generic online ILL request form for us. However, I have been having trouble this semester with the DATE NEEDED BY field and various applications overriding the patron's original need by date.
Last semester and this semester I've been having problems with the CJ majors requesting articles for next day delivery -- a little birdie (but not the profs?) told them that I could get articles within 24 hours.
