[ILL-L] Ariel changing documents to GDIs

Are you importing the documents from another scanning program or are you
using the built-in scanning function in Ariel?

Hi folks.   I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.  

We are running Ariel v. 4.1.1 with a Minolta PS 5000c scanner.   The
scanner is supposedly creating PDFs but when we sent the documents via
Ariel many of them are transformed to unreadable GDIs.    Does anyone
know what we can do to stop this from happening?   We send and delete
documents, so we often have to rescan and mail them if we're the only
lenders.   Not what we need for efficient workflow....
