[ILL-L] Ariel changing documents to GDIs

Linda,
This happened to us all the time. We stopped sending articles that way because of it. We now just do email pdf's to requestors. It eliminates having to do them over and over again. If you find out what causes it, I'd sure like to know.

Hi folks. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.
We are running Ariel v. 4.1.1 with a Minolta PS 5000c scanner. The scanner is supposedly creating PDFs but when we sent the documents via Ariel many of them are transformed to unreadable GDIs. Does anyone know what we can do to stop this from happening? We send and delete documents, so we often have to rescan and mail them if we're the only lenders. Not what we need for efficient workflow....
