[ILL-L] Do you let your alumni borrow books?

We allow alumni to check out books from our library only, free of charge.
NO ILL or A/V lending.

We don't let alumni use ILL for the same reason as you.

Hi,

This is a question for academic libraries only. Here we have been grappling
with the question of whether to let our alumni borrow our books. I would
like to ask what were the policies in other colleges and universities. We
fear that, since we don't have any sway over them, we may lose some of our
books if we lend them to alumni. If you are lending, do you do so free of
charge or in return for a contribution or a fee? 

 

I will be grateful to hear from others.
