Reading recommendation websites don't get any better than www.overbooked.org - my drop dead favorite. When our reading group asked me how I pick such good books, I said - Overbooked!

The Hennipen Library system in Minneapolis has a great website for recommending books in different genre.

And once you find an author you like, try http://ww2.kdl.org/libcat/WhatsNextNEW.asp to see if he has any series.  
 
What constitutes a "good" mystery is, of course, very subjective.  I personally enjoy James Doss's books.

I'm always looking for a good mystery to read.  Do you recommend this one?
