Customer Support and Training Specialist - Atlas Systems, Inc. - Virginia Beach, VA.
Atlas Systems, Inc. is seeking a Customer Support and Training Specialist to provide exceptional and responsive customer support for all Atlas Systems products, including ILLiad, Ares, and Aeon.
Duties of this position include front line customer support via phone and email, working with customers on various service issues including troubleshooting, system and web page customization, performing server/database migrations, coordinating Atlas software implementation for new licensees, and conducting on-site and online software implementation training for various Atlas products.
The requirements for this position include: two or more years experience with computer software configuration including Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite; an understanding of basic computer hardware operations including networking; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to work in a multi-site team and fast paced environment. Occasional overnight travel required.
Experience with database applications, specifically Microsoft SQL, experience in teaching, support, or customer interaction situations, experience with library software or library operations, especially interlibrary loan, course reserves, and special collections, are preferred.
