[ILL-L] Borrowing/Lending Fees?

Megan,

I don't understand how they are charging you via IFM. If you have $0 in
your maxcost field no charges can go through on IFM. Are they sending
invoices with the material?

If you have $0 in your maxcost field and a library sends you material, it is
my understanding that they are agreeing with your $0 maxcost, and you
shouldn't be liable for any invoice sent.

Subject: [ILL-L] Borrowing/Lending Fees?

All of our borrowing requests are sent with Maxcost of $0. Most of the time
lenders respect this and will either say "no" or conditional the request.
Recently, however, I've had a spate of lenders who are ignoring my Maxcost
and charging us for the materials. Does anybody have any suggestions on how
to handle this? We're using IFM, if that makes any difference. I've double
checked the requests this happens on and don't see any reason they'd have
gone around our Maxcost field.
