The 39th Annual Interlibrary Loan Conference, May 1-2, 2008, Lakewood!

Dear Library Colleagues:
Mark your calendar for the 39th Annual Interlibrary Loan Conference to
be held May 1-2, 2008 at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel in Lakewood,
Colorado. Our line-up of speakers and events is continually growing and
includes keynote speaker, Brewster Kahle; U.S. internet entrepreneur,
activist and digital librarian, who will be discussing Internet
Archives/Open Libraries; the Colorado Interlibrary Loan Committee's very
own Nancy Sensel, Interlibrary Loan/Circulation Supervisor for the
University of Denver Law Library, who will present "Copyright Basics
101;" and if you want to know what national researcher and library
consultant Pat Wagner of Pattern Research, Inc, is up to, you'll just
have to hear it from her firsthand at the conference! Did you know that
there's an online book rental library club that lends paperbacks and
hard covers directly to your house without the need to purchase them?
Well, that's what "Bookswim" does and they want to talk to you at our
conference! There will also be opportunities to interact with vendors
and OCLC will present its annual update session.
