I find the search box hard to use.  I often find the article by Googling
the title of the article in "quotes" though.

Laura, if you go to http://www.nurse.com, you may be able to find the
full text of those articles.  I've had luck searching by the author's
last name in the search box in the "News AND FEATURES FROM NURSING
SPECTRUM/NURSEWEEK" section -- use the 'Article Search' box on the right
side.
