I have several ILL borrowers for groups of borrowers:

Kansas Public Libraries, Kansas University Libraries, Kansas
school libraries, etc. and Out of State Public Libraries, Out of State
University Libraries, Out of State Special Libraries, etc. I've made
separate borrowers for those who borrow from us a lot. All these users
have an ILL-Out profile in our SIRSIDynix Unicorn system.

Subject: [ILL-L] borrowing requests from other libraries

Hi folks, I am reorganizing the ILL department and I would like
suggestions on how other departments handle their incoming requests from
other libraries. Right now, in order to track material requested by
other libraries we create a post card with their name and address and
then attach a bar code and check out our material to them. It is then
tracked by our library system (Voyager). The problem is we end up with
hundreds of these cards and a lot of the time we have only used them
once. We also don't have control of the overdue notices. I know there is
a better way - any suggestions?
