[ILL-L] overdue notices

We print overdues weekly, along with second & third notices. We wait 2
weeks after the due date to send the overdues out. The 2nd & 3rd notices
are only a week apart. On the 3rd notice we indicate they will be
charged the replacement cost plus processing fee if the item is not
returned.

Hello ILLers,

 

I was wondering how often you send overdue notices to your own patrons &
to other libraries. Do you send them out daily or weekly?  How long do
you wait before you send a second notice-to patrons & other libraries?
Do you have a schedule or a policy that you follow?  Any insight would
be greatly appreciated.
