[ILL-L] Is it possible...

Traci,

Take a look at any request you (as lender) have already in shipped status. Above the update, edit and rest buttons is an option to recall. If that box is checked and then the update button is clicked, the request will got to recall status.

Some libraries do recall before an item is received: because they have a patron who wants it, or because they wish to complete the request without the borrowing library having updated to received and returned.

Hi,

This may be a stupid question, but we have a situation where a library is saying they never received our book and when we look into the record on WRS at the top right of the screen it says "Recalled - Lender: Overdue". Is it possible to request a recall through WRS when the record hasn't been updated to received? Any help with figuring this out would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
