[ILL-L] Wrong Format

We can't add anything to the request because we use Direct Request and
never see the request form.

This sounds like a good method.  When necessary lenders could then add a
format description at the end of the call number field.  For Ex: -DVD
(if there are enough character spaces)

I, too, would like to see an accurate format field on the request.  Many
requests have "Type" specified in the "Verified" field, but just as many
requests for non-print items do not.  

 

The best solution I've seen is to add the format you need at the end of
the title field with ***CAPS AND ASTERISKS***.
