[ILL-L] off topic/jobs for disabled volunteer

If the person is in a wheel chair, they could shelf read from half way
down to the floor. Even that would be a great help for us. :-)

Could the person be taught to use a computer?

We always need shelf-reading, but I guess that's out. Maybe someone
could bring the books and take them back. We have lots of tasks - like
putting covers on books, etc., also. Just an idea, Ed.

Subject: [ILL-L] off topic/jobs for disabled volunteer

Hello all,

Does anyone have any ideas for disabled workers that have limitations in
dexterity and mobility? We have a volunteer that has finished working on
a long term project and are at a loss as to what else he can do that
does not involve computers. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
We don't want to lose someone who has been so dedicated to our library.

Thank you,

Tom
