[ILL-L] SAE Standard request

An OCLC request would be great--we're JCR. It will be easier to supply
from the print, since we can just scan it, where we'd have to print the
pdf file first & then scan it. I've got the book in my office, and will
hold it pending your request.

(I'm sure both are the same) -- so I will leave it up to you to pick the
one that would be easier for you to copy/deliver.  Would you like me to

	We have a print copy of the SAE Handbook from 2004 (standard
dated Aug 2002, 33 pg long) and the SAE Handbook CD from 2008 (57 pg
long). The document on the CD, while formatted somewhat differently from
that in the print volume, appears to be the same. It also is the Aug
2002 revision, superseding June 2000. Happy to supply from either--we're
LSTR, so there's no charge to you. Just please specify which one you
want--from the book or the CD.

		I have a patron who is looking for the following SAE
standard:
		 
		Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis in Design
(Design FMEA) and Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis in
Manufacturing and Assembly Processes (Process FMEA) and Effects Analysis
for Machinery (Machinery FMEA)
		 
		SAE J 1739
		 
		Part of the SAE Ground Vehicle Standards:  GV-1 disk
		 
		 
		We don't own these series of CD-roms.  There is an
individual OCLC record for this item (owned by a Japanese library), and
there are OCLC records for the Ground Vehicle standards index, but the
one request I sent in came back unfilled.
		 
		If anyone has access to these standards, and is willing
to loan -- I would really appreciate it.  The one big glitch is that the
standard is 59 pages long.  We are willing to pay up to $20 IFM for the
standard.
