Subject: [ILL-L] Question about Ariel E-Mail
Having failed to set up Odyssey standalone due to some firewall problems
which will take a couple of months to solve, I have received a couple of
requested copies in PDF format via email.
I did a quick lookup online and found that libraries can send us
materials this way using Ariel.
My question is: How should I set up my Constant Data and Policies
Directory to reflect that this is the only way we can receive Electronic
Delivery? I notice in the Constant Data form there's a choice for Ariel
(E-Mail) - do I just put my email address in that field? Is there
anything else I should do?
Please pardon my ignorance - as a rural public library we just don't do
a lot of electronic delivery; in the past we've done it by fax, which is
a very unsatisfactory way of getting readable copies!!
