Apologies for duplication, but I wanted to let folks know that our
ILLiad server crashed late Tuesday afternoon. Systems was able to
bring it back up late yesterday, but about 2 weeks' worth of data is
"lost." This includes live requests that we have made to other
libraries, as well as live requests YOU have made of us. For
articles, obviously, it's not quite as dire for all you borrowers out
there, but if you have a loan out from us that was requested in the
last 2 weeks, we no longer have a record of it in ILLiad (it should
still be in Firstsearch, thankfully). We have no idea what will
happen if and when you try to request a renewal from us, so please be
patient as we try to reconstruct the missing items. And if you see
requests for items that we already have, please understand that it's
not intentional to try and make you nuts. :-)

I'm just grateful this didn't happen in, say, mid-October!

Julia
