[ILL-L] Green interlibrary loan practices?

We don't have very many with that restriction.  If the license says 
that, though, then we print first and then scan.  I have heard some 
people say that the way we convert to .tif is to "print" to the MS 
Document Image Writer, so that fulfills the requirement to print, even 
though we don't actually print to paper.  IMHO, this is a semantical 
argument.  I have not run this theory by our legal department, so I'm 
playing it safe for now and actually printing these articles out first.
