(Or Any Journal)
Or
How to Become an Acknowledged Expert
A. How to write a good article for JILLDDER
Your library has a Netflix account for ILL. You write about how much it is used, what it costs, what the patrons think of it and your library's overall satisfaction.
B. How to Write an Excellent Article.
You find a number of libraries that have Netflix accounts for ILL. You obtain their patron Netflix policies. You survey the persons in charge of the Netflix ILL account about use, problems, costs and policies. How they handle overdues? You collect a number of policies.
C. How to Become the Acknowledged Expert on Using Netflix in Ill
You do everything in paragraph B., but you limit it to one type of library - Large academic libraries, medium sized academic libraries, New England libraries, medium sized public libraries or large public libraries. Over a period of months, you write a series of articles separated by the types of libraries. Now, you can start giving presentations entitled "Using Netflix in Your Library," at ILL conferences around the country. You are now the expert on Netflix in ILL.
D. Steps A., B. and C. Is The Path To Becoming An Expert On Any Topic.
