Same with us.

We don't know if Borrowing libraries resensitize our books, but our
shelvers re-sensitize materials before putting them back on the shelf as
a matter of course.

The Circulation Staff probably desentizes things, but we don't
resensitize them, Ed.

I am trying to determine if there is a standard practice among ILL
offices related to sensitization/desensitization of borrowed ILL
material.

How many among you desensitize ILL returnables before giving them to
patrons at the Circulation Desk?

For those who desensitize the material, do you also resensitize it
before mailing it back to the home/owning library?
