[ILL-L] Borrowing multiple copies for a class

We have a policy stating that we do not order required course books through
interlibrary loan. There are just too many problems associated with it.
Students want to keep the books for the whole semester which causes
overdue headaches for me and for the lending libraries. I would never start
doing that at this institution. It would be like opening the floodgates. I'd
have people wanting us to get ALL their books through interlibrary loan. It's
just not a good way to go. I agree that buying books is just a part of going to
college.
