[ILL-L] return address labels

Thanks, Jeanne. However, we do all of our updating from Clio, and then
send them on to OCLC from within Clio. I wish I could print labels from
Clio. Using the address from the request in WRS, I copy and paste the
address to MS Word. If there is no address on the request, then I use
the address in the Policies Directory. It is so much easier if the
lending library includes a label. I am curious... Does ILLiad have a
feature to create mailing labels for borrowing returns?
Sincerely,
Sue

Sue,
You can do this!
For the books being returned that don't have labels, go to WCRS, and
update each item individually [not batch]
You'll notice there's a box to check to print return labels - Check the
box
After you've updated the "label-less" return to Request Manager
In the "Printing" box, you'll now see "Mailing Labels (0 shipping, 2
return)
Click on Print, and that will take you to the formatting of those labels
OCLC has given you several choices of label size, and what you can put
on the label.
[Tip - you can print on plain paper - not label stock - and cut the
labels, and tape them down on the package]
Voila! Return Labels.
Not quite easy, peasy - but close, and not as time consuming as hand
writing.
