[ILL-L] banning paperwork?

I'd say no.  I sometimes think that we're overdoing it with Lending
Labels on the book AND  the pull slips we use in shelf searches.  Then-
as happened most of last month- I fill in for absent staff members and
see books coming back without Lending Labels or without legible Lending
Labels and the lowly pull slips (which sometimes also don't come back)
provide the only clues we have for giving the borrowing libraries credit
for the returns. I

Do you think we should ban paperwork except for book straps and return
address labels? The paperwork seems to duplicate what's on the book
strap. Just an idea, Ed.
